The Boehringer Ingelheim Lectures in Chemistry were established through the generosity of Boehringer Ingelheim (Canada) Ltd., Laval, Québec, and are intended to permit the Department of Chemistry of the University of Alberta to invite distinguished scientists who have made pioneering contributions to chemistry.
