Investigating the Interaction between Proteins and Nanocrystalline Celluloses (NCCs).
Project Description:
The work will be focused on studying the interactions of several proteins with different isoelectric points and NCCs by Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM). The goal of this study is to gain a better understanding of the NCC surface chemistry and to determine possible applications by modifying the NCC surface. Other imaging and spectroscopic techniques will also be used for further characterization.
