Our dear Tracey passed away on 23. June 2010 after a bicycle accident. |
Tracey has worked with us on the construction of a new type of instrument, a chirped pulse Fourier transform microwave spectrometer. Click here to see Tracey's seminar presentation about this spectrometer. We know Tracey as a really bright student, so excited to learn new things and to contribute to the work. But it was not only these qualities which made it such a joy to have her in the lab.
Tracey had this special gift to brighten the day for everybody around her and she immediately became a cherished part of our group. She was a beautiful, kind, and positive person with great internal strength and such a great sense of humour and a smile that made you forget all your troubles. We feel very privileged to have known someone so wonderful and are very grateful for the time Tracey spent with us.
Tracey was a ray of sunshine in our lab. It is difficult to accept her passing and we miss her terribly.
