Clean Up

Cleaning the IR Plates

  1. Rinse the IR plates thoroughly with dichloromethane, chloroform or reagent grade acetone.

    • when manipulating and/or cleaning the plates, hold them by the edge

Cleaning the Sealed Cell

  1. Empty the cell contents into a waste beaker.
  2. Return the cell to the "fill position" and add clean solvent.
  3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 twice more.
