Chem 261 - Intro Organic Chemistry
Welcome to the Chemistry 261 web site! The goal of this course is to help you understand the structure, nomenclature, physical properties and reactions of common classes of organic compounds. You will also learn about the natural occurrences, uses and applications of various organic compounds.
This site is designed to help you succeed in Chem 261. The material in this web site is meant to provide a basis for the class.

- Academic Success Centre students must submit form
- Midterm Exam Two - 250 points
- Date: October 31, 2023 - 12:30 to 1:50 PM (80 minutes) in person in class
- Models OK - No books, notes or extraneous electronic devices - similar to exams posted on this website
- Location Chemistry Centre E1-60
- Academic Success Centre students must submit form
- Final Exam (no supplemental exam) = 350 points
- Date: December 12 , 2023 at 9 AM (3 hours)
