Welcome to the Chemistry 164/261 web site! The goal of this course is to help you understand the structure, nomenclature, physical properties and reactions of common classes of organic compounds. You will also learn about the natural occurrences, uses and applications of various organic compounds.

This site is designed to help you succeed in Chem 164/261. The material in this web site is meant to supplement what is discussed in class.

Office Hours: Drop in at my office, Chemistry W5-09, Tues or Thurs from 2:00 to 3:00 PM, or make an appointment for an alternative time

Help is Available! Help Sessions will continue in E1-34 throughout the entire semester and final exam period:

Monday 9:00 - 11:00 and 13:00-17:00; Tuesday 9:00-17:00; Wednesday 9:00-17:00; Thursday 9:00-17:00;

Friday 9:00-11:00 and 13:00-15:00
