Sample Exams

  • Final Exam Grades and Unofficial Course Grade will be  posted on eClass   
  • Midterm Exam One - September 28, 2023      80 minutes    150 points (15% of grade)
  • Electronic access on eClass available at 12:30 PM, submit electronically by 1:50 PM
  • Multiple Choice - graded electronically
  • Models OK, No books, notes or extraneous electronic devices
  •   
  • Midterm Exam Two - October 31, 2023 (80 minutes) - 250 points (25% of grade)
  • Chemistry Centre E1-60 (in person)
  • Format similar to other exams posted at this site
  • Cumulative - covers all from start of course
  • Models OK, No books, notes or extraneous electronic devices
  •  Correct answers to be posted after exam on eClass
  •     
  •  
  • Regrade Request for Midterm 2 only - also available below under Questions About Grading
  • Regrade Request form must be submitted by email to course instructor before deadline (5 PM November 9  , 2023)
  • Single request only - addition error or answer fully correct and marked wrong - no partial credit adjustment
  • Do NOT   send or submit Answer Sheet - send only Regrade Request form
  • No discussion of midterm exam or answers until after November 9   to ensure equal consideration for all submitted regrades
  • Latest regrade request possible November 9  , 2023 at 5 PM

Questions About Grading

You are encouraged to go through your midterm exam carefully to check for possible errors in addition or grading. Midterm 1 is graded electronically. If you feel that there is an error in grading of Midterm 2, please print and complete the form below and submit to me by email before 5 PM Nov 9, 2023. Do NOT send your answer sheet - send only Regrade Request form.  Single request only - addition error or answer fully correct and marked wrong - no partial credit adjustment
