Inorganic base

Organic base: (Lowry-Bronstead base);
Any molecular substance that can combine with a proton (hydrogen ion) to form a new compound;

usually refers to organic amines.

Inorganic base:
a large class of compounds with the ability to react with (neutralize) acids to form salts
and with the ability to cause indicators to take on characteristic colors;

usually refers to water soluble hydroxides, e.g., sodium, potassium, and ammonium hydroxide;
also includes weak bases, e.g., water soluble carbonates or bicarbonates.
