Amine

Amine: An organic compound having the general formula R-NH2, R2NH, R3N, where R represents any other alkyl or aryl group(s).

Amines are characterized by the presence of a nitrogen atom. Amines are classified as primary (R-NH2), secondary (R2NH) or tertiary (R3N) amines depending on how many R groups are present.
