The Calendar has been changed so that medical notes (Medical Statements) are no needed for absences. This does not impact the 10X labs directly as these were never required for the 10X labs.
You will be given a hand-out in your first lab explaining what to do for absences. Read this carefully as these changes take effect immediately. Note that the time to report illness from term work is now specified. Therefore missed labs must be reported within TWO days rather than the 5 days currently in the Lab Manual.
Furthermore, note that instructors and Faculty Offices will retain the discretion to grant or not grant an excused absence for term work or examinations.
