Patrice Plaza-Alexander

Patrice graduated from the University of the West Indies, Trinidad and Tobago in 2004 with first class honours in Chemistry. Later that year she began her research under the supervision of Professor Gurdial Singh at the same university. Patrice recenty obtained her PhD in chemistry with a project entitled "Biomimetic synthesis of oligofuranosides and TB epitopes via propane-1,3-diyl phosphates." She joined the Lowary group in August 2009. Her current research interests involve the synthesis of the Galili antigens for the development of new transplant technology.
