Mike grew up in Edmonton and is currently completing his Bachelor of Science in chemistry and biological sciences. He joined the Lowary group in May 2015 and first worked on synthesizing fragments of Aspergillus galactomannan to characterize two monoclonal antibodies. Currently, Mike is synthesizing synthetic Brucella oligosaccharide antigens as potential vaccine targets.
