Amira Khalil

Amira graduated (with Honors distinction) from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt in 2003. In 2007, she received her Master’s degree for the synthesis and antitumor evaluation of novel pyrrolopyrimidine derivatives. In 2009, she joined Dr. Todd Lowary’s group, where her current research focuses on the synthesis and binding studies of a number of galactofuranose-containing glycoconjugates.
