Myles Poulin

Myles graduated with distinction from the University of Northern British Columbia in 2007 with a B.Sc. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Initially interested in medicine, he discovered his true passion for research while working on the synthesis of RGII oligosaccharide fragments with Dr. Kerry Reimer. He then joined the Lowary group in 2007. His current research involves the synthesis of nucleotide activated furanose sugar molecules to be used as substrates to test the specificity of potential mutase enzymes from Campylobacter jejuni.
