Ke Shen

Ke
Shen received his B.Sc. in Chemistry from Sichuan University in 2006
and obtained his Ph.D. in organic chemistry under the supervision of
Professor Xiaoming Feng at the same university in 2011. His Ph.D.
research is primarily in the area of asymmetric synthesis, especially
on "Studies on the catalytic asymmetic aldol-type reaction of
3-substituted-2-oxindoles and Strecker reaction of ketimines". In
the same year he joined the Lowary group with the interest of synthesis
of bioactive trehalose mycolates and related carbohydrates.
