Ke Shen
Ke
Shen received his Ph.D. in organic chemistry under the supervision of
Prof. Xiaoming Feng at Sichuan university. Then he joined the Lowary
group at University of Alberta with the interest of chemical synthesis
of complicated LOSs from Mycobacterium. His current research involves
β-selective arabinofuranosylation and α-selective xylofuranosylation in
the synthesis of LAMs. His research interests involves in development
of new synthetic methodologies, designing and executing multi-step
synthesis, optimizing chemical processes and scale-up of synthetic
methods.
