Kamar Sahloul

Kamar obtained her B.Sc. in Chemistry in 2007 from Lebanese University. In 2009, she received her M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry at Université Paris Sud with Dr. Mohamad Mellah. She received her Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry at Université Paris Sud in 2012 under the supervision of Dr. David Bonnaffé and Dr. Christine Le Narvor. Her Ph.D. research was focused on the Development of new methodologies for the synthesis of well-define Heparan Sulfate (HS) fragments toward studying teh specficity of HS biosynthesis enzymes. In 2013, she joined Dr. Lowary's group as a postdoctoral fellow. Her current research involves the synthesis arabinan and mannan domains to identify novel cell wall glycan biomarkers as tuberculosis diagnostic tools.
