Summer research projects in synthetic chemistry, bioassay development, and microscopy are available. Undergraduate students interested in working in the group for the summer should contact Dr. Cairo by email. Please provide an updated copy of your CV or resume, as well as a brief cover letter as to your research interests. Preference will be given to students who have completed more than one year of courses in chemistry, biochemistry, or pharmacology. Students with a GPA of 3.5 or above should apply for a summer NSERC award in the January before they would like to work in the lab.
Projects are also available in Winter & Spring semesters for Chemistry students enrolled in Chem 401/403 in synthesis, bioassays, biophysical chemistry, and microscopy.
