On September 18, 2009, Prof. Alex Brown celebrated his 40th birthday. Little did he know that his group had been planning for weeks a surprise for him. Let's call it a tiny makeover, shall we? Of course, we couldn't be bested by professors, who gave a good try at previous 40th birthday pranks. Leave it to the experts: students and postdocs. We think we were successful, and for those who have not yet turned 40, sympathies go to you, as the next group of pranksters will surely try to top us (it won't be easy, though!).
