Current research involves the synthesis of novel molecules and the study of reaction mechanism. A study of the mechanism of ozonolysis of electron rich alkenes has led to the preparation of two new types of luminescent molecules and a powerful oxygen atom transfer reagent. Remote steric effects on radical reactions and new types of polymerization reactions are also being investigated.
